Page Settings
Page Settings contain basic information about the website page. Navigate between Page and SEO tabs to change the name, URL, title and description, and add a social share image. You can also remove, hide, or set the selected page as a homepage.
Accessing Page Settings
- In the Site Editor, hover over the left sidebar and select Pages:
- Hover over the page and click the Settings icon that appears next to the name of the page:
Page Tab
- Rename Page: Enter a new page name in the Name field. This updates the page title displayed in the navigation menu.
- Change Page's URL: Edit the URL in the URL field.
Please Note: You cannot customize the Homepage URL. The page name is set by default as /home.
- Duplicate Page: Click the Duplicate Page button to duplicate your page. A Duplicate page will immediately appear in the Navigation Menu and the Menu section in Pages.
- Set as a Homepage: Click the Set as Homepage button. A homepage icon will appear next to the page name.
Please Note: There can only be one Homepage per site.
- Hide Page: Click the Hide Page button to remove the page from the navigation menu. Hidden pages can still be accessed through links and appear in the Hidden section at the bottom of the Pages panel. You can also hide a page in the Menu section of the Pages panel if at least one other page is hidden.
- Unhide Page: Click the Unhide Page button to show the page in the navigation menu. You can also drag and drop the page to any location within the Menu section.
- Delete Page: Click the Delete Page button and confirm action by clicking Yes on the pop-up.
SEO Tab
Navigate to the SEO tab to configure SEO settings for the page, including title, description, and social share image. These elements influence how your page appears in search results.
- Title: Specify the page title that will appear in the search engines.
- Description: Add the description to display in the search results.
Tips for writing compelling SEO page descriptions:
- The text needs to be between 50-160 characters.
- The description of each page must be unique. It helps to promote your site in search engines.
- Optimize your descriptions with keywords, but avoid keyword stuffing.
- Think about your visitors' search needs and how you can encourage them to click through to your site.
- Social Share Image: Set an image that will appear on a thumbnail when the page is shared on social media platforms.
- Show Page in Search Results: Control whether the page is visible on the website and in search engines.
