eCommerce: Using Custom Inventory Templates
Custom inventory templates are your ticket to making product information management in eCommerce easier. You can import or export product details from these templates in just one go, which means data will accurately and efficiently be updated across your channels of sales. A custom import template helps us read the information from your file properly when uploading a CSV file. A Custom Export Template is essentially the same thing; however, it is used in exporting your product information.
eCommerce uses an Automated Inventory Feed to receive quantity and product updates from your suppliers to update your sales channels. You can use this feed to import your supplier's catalog to create products.
