eCommerce Email Notifications: Setup & Customization
Empower your eCommerce email alerts by creating unique email notifications for your online store. This article will help you in the configuration of email settings, uploading your trademark, preparing the autoresponders, and other processes that will make life much easier and smoother for your clients.
Setting Email Notifications
- Log in to your account via https://www.web.com/my-account/login.
- In your Account Manager, click Websites on the left side of the page, then click Launch.
Please Note:
- If you have one eCommerce product, you will be directly routed to your eCommerce dashboard.
- If you have more than one eCommerce product, select the eCommerce plan you wish to update, and then click Launch.
3. In your eCommerce, click Store on the left navigation menu, then select Settings:
- Click the Manage button on the Online Store card:
- Click the Manage button on the Email Notifications card:
a. New Order Email – Set an email where all the new orders on your online store will be sent:
b. Customer Email – Set an email for all other types of email communications and interactions from your online store. This will be the same email address that you can use for the auto-respond emails for the Order confirmation email, Shipping email, Digital fulfillment email, etc.:
After adding a customer support email address, you can now modify the auto-respond emails with the templates provided by clicking the Edit option:
You can also personalize the template by clicking on the Personalization dropdown. Once done, click on Save:
c. Email Design – You can place a logo in every email sent to customers. Click on the Edit button to add a company logo:
Make sure to click the Publish button:
