Top Navigation Bar
You'll see the Top Navigation Bar whenever you're editing a website in Site Editor. It sits above your page, and most of the tools you need are right there.
From left to right, you'll typically find:
- Main Menu (logo icon)
- Undo and Redo arrows
- Desktop and Phone preview icons
- Site Backups
- Auto-Save indicator icon
- Help (question mark icon)
- Pages dropdown
- Preview and Publish buttons
- Account menu (your initials, top-right)
- Click the logo icon in the Top Navigation Bar to open the Main Menu dropdown:

- From the Main Menu (Logo icon), you can access the Account Manager Home page, Website Dashboard, Content, Marketing and Customers sections:

- Click the arrow buttons in the Top Navigation Bar to Undo/Redo changes:

Please Note: Undo and Redo work for recent edits in your current session. If you need to restore an older version of your site, use Site Backups instead.
- Switch between the Desktop and Phone icons to show the Page Preview:

- Click the Site Backups icon to see available backups for your project. To learn more, please follow the Site Backups tutorial.
- If you need expert help with building your website, you can always proceed to Hire an Expert option.
- Select the [?] icon to access the Knowledge Base or Hire an Expert:

Please note: The auto-save feature saves your changes automatically as you edit your site. Your work is saved in the background, so you can continue editing without manually saving.
- Click on the Pages drop-down to see your current location and navigate to other pages of your website:

- You can also click Manage Pages to open the Pages layout:

- Preview or Publish your website when you are ready:

- Click the Account (your initials) icon in the top-right and select among the following options: Home, My Profile, User & Roles, My Payments Methods, Order History, Renewal Center, Marketplace, Professional Services or Log Out:

Common Questions
How do I save my website changes?
You don't need to do anything - your changes are saved automatically as you edit. When you're ready for visitors to see your updates, click Publish.
Is Preview the same as Publish?
No. Preview lets you look at your site without going live. Publish makes your latest changes visible on your live website.
Do I need to click Save before closing the editor?
No. Auto-save keeps your work as you go. You can leave and come back anytime.
How do I undo a mistake?
Click Undo (the left arrow) in the Top Navigation Bar. For bigger rollbacks, use Site Backups.
How do I switch to a different page?
Use the Pages dropdown in the Top Navigation Bar, or click Manage Pages to see your full page list.
Where can I get help?
Click the question mark [?] icon in the Top Navigation Bar to open the Knowledge Base or Hire an Expert.
