Embed

Please Note: Custom CSS, 3rd party plugins, and scripts are not supported by our platform. 

The Embed element allows you to add external videos, images, and other content to your website via scripting (codes) from third-party sources to your website.

Adding the Embed Section

Option 1

  • Hover over the desired section and click Add Element:

  • Choose the Embed element from the modal that appears:

  • After you choose the element from the list, drag it to the desired section and drop it using the grid.

Option 2

  • Hover over the left sidebar of the Site Editor and click Build (+) button:

  • Choose the element:

  • After you choose the element from the list, drag it to the desired section and drop it using the grid.

Moving and Resizing Embed

Please refer to the Elements Management (Drag and Drop Grid) article to learn more about moving and duplicating elements.

Customizing Embed

To edit, duplicate, or delete the element, click on it and switch between the buttons that appear in its toolbar:

Embedding Content

  • Click on the element and choose the Embed button that appears in its toolbar:

  • Choose the Code type, and paste the embed code into the Code field:

  • Or you can switch the embed type to Link and enter the website's URL into the Link field.

Please Note: You can only embed websites whose HTTP/HTTPS protocol corresponds to the website's primary domain. Some HTTP sites may not be displayed in the editor but appear on publishing.

  • You can adjust the embed content height to larger or smaller (smaller will create a scrollable box for the item). With Embed Link type this option is always enabled. For Embed Code type simply disable the Adapt to Full Height option.

Deleting Embed

  • Click the Remove button [Bin]:

  • The element will be removed immediately.

More Menu

  • Click the More icon in the editing menu to access the available options:

  • Cut. Click Cut or Ctrl+X to cut your element.
  • Copy. Click Copy or Ctrl+C to copy your element.
  • Duplicate. Click Duplicate or Ctrl+D to duplicate your element. The duplicate will appear immediately.
  • Delete. Click Delete to remove the element. The element will be deleted immediately.
  • Move Forward. Click Move Forward or Ctrl+⇓ to move your element.
  • Move Forward. Click Move Forward or Ctrl+⇑ to move your element.

Please Note: The Move Forward or Move Backward options are available only when one element is added on top of another.
