Online Marketplaces Management
Please Note: This article refers to customers with enabled Online Store and Online Marketplaces plans. If your plan is Online Store Builder, please refer to the Online Store Builder Management article.
After creating a project in the Site Editor, the store is automatically enabled.
Setting Up Products
With the Online Store Builder subscription, you can add products to your website by following these steps:
- In the Site Editor, hover over the left sidebar and click Store:
- Click the Set Up Products button to connect products to your project:
You will be redirected to the Products section in your Web.com account.
- In the lick the Create Product drop-down on the top-right and select Product:
- Complete the following information:
- Product Name: Enter your product name. When you click on this field, you will have the option to use the AI Writer that will help you create a product name.
- Unique SKU: Add a unique SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) to distinguish the product from other products.
- Price: Add a price for your product.
- Product Description: Describe your product. When you click on this field, you will have the option to use the AI Writer to create a description that will attract customers.
- Category: Add a category to make it easier for buyers to find items on your site, allowing them to filter your complete list of products down to a specific category.
- Product Photo: Add a photo of your product by clicking on Add Product Photos.
- Once you have completed the required information, you will have two options to add your product:
- Quick Add: This option automatically adds the product to your listings.
- Manage Product: This will also add your product to your listings, but it will take you to your Product Details page, where you can update your product's basic information.
- Proceed to Dashboard, choose a project you currently editing and click Edit Site or Edit Draft:
- Select Store to be able to Edit Store Page, Edit Product Page or Manage Products:
Disabling the Online Store
Please Note: Upon disconnecting, the Store page will be hidden from the Navigation Menu and will be inaccessible on the live site. All product/catalog widgets will also be removed from the pages.
You can disable the Online Store in two ways in the Site Editor:
Option 1
- Hover over the left sidebar and click Pages:
- Find Store, and click the Settings icon on the right:
- Use the toggle at the top of the Store page settings:
Option 2
- Go to Settings in the left sidebar of the Site Editor:
- Select Advanced in the settings items list:
- Select App Settings in the list:
- Turn of the Store toggle:
- The Store icon will be deleted from the sidebar:
Re-enabling the Online Store
If you decided to disconnect your store, you can re-enable it again by following these steps:
- Go to Settings in the left sidebar of the Site Editor:
- Select Advanced in the settings items list:
- Select App Settings in the list:
- Turn on the Store toggle:
- The Store icon will be added to the sidebar:
Shopping Cart Management
To access the Shopping Cart settings:
- Hover over the Navigation Header and click Layout:
- Find the Shopping Cart and click Edit:
- If the Shopping Cart is enabled, you can access the settings by hovering over it and clicking the Pencil icon:
You will be able to manage the following Shopping Cart settings:
- Use the Display Icon toggle to enable/disable the Shopping Cart in the navigation header:
- Click the Square icon to open the color picker and change the Icon and Badge colors:
- Select the Shopping Cart style from the list after clicking Change Style:
