How to Connect Your eCommerce Store to Marketplaces
Learn how to connect your eCommerce store to marketplaces. Before you can add products to marketplaces, you must first integrate the marketplace. Integrating marketplaces into your eCommerce store establishes a link between your store and a marketplace over the Internet, such as Amazon, eBay, or Walmart. You can extract important product information such as pricing, stock levels, and shipping policies and automatically sync inventory when connecting your eCommerce store to the marketplace.
Benefits of Connecting Your eCommerce Store to Marketplaces
Below are some benefits of connecting your eCommerce store to marketplaces such as Amazon, Etsy, Walmart, etc.:
- Automation - An online marketplace simplifies the processes of uploading products and services, managing orders and updates, and tracking returns and refunds. It also helps eliminate mistakes that can occur when tasks are performed manually by executing pre-set tasks on a server. This means there is no longer a need to carry out repetitive tasks manually.
- Single dashboard -You can manage all activities from a single eCommerce dashboard without switching between different platforms, saving time and effort. You can keep track of top-performing products and marketing campaigns and take necessary actions as needed. You also get a centralized order management system where you can accept, reject, ship, or delete requests on time.
- Real-time data - You can streamline your operations by gathering all the information scattered across various channels and stocking points, achieving end-to-end visibility. This lets you make real-time changes to product deliveries, shipping, and invoicing.
- Demand forecast - An eCommerce marketplace can assist businesses in avoiding overstocking and understocking, resulting in better demand forecasting. By leveraging intelligent data insights, you can plan demand more effectively, which can help reduce cash burn.
