How to Enable Low Inventory Alerts in eCommerce

Learn how to enable low inventory alerts in eCommerce to keep track of your inventory, which is a valuable asset that depends on how you sell your products. Low inventory may indicate poor efficiency caused by marketing underperformance, decreased market demand, outdated products, etc.

Please Note: Once you have enabled the Low Inventory Alerts, you will be sent alerts to your email address on file. If you want to change your email address on file, follow the steps in Setting Email Notifications.

How to Enable Low Inventory Alerts

To configure low stock email alerts for eCommerce, follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to your account via https://www.web.com/my-account/login.
  2. On your Account Manager homepage, click Websites on the left menu. If you only have one eCommerce product, you will be automatically routed to your eCommerce dashboard.
    • If you have multiple eCommerce products, click LAUNCH next to the product you would like to update.


  3. In your eCommerce dashboard, click Store on the left menu and choose Settings. Look for the Notifications tile on the right, then click Manage.


    • Alternatively, you can also enable your Low Inventory Notifications within your Store Dashboard by clicking on the gear icon within the Notifications tile.



  1. Click on the Enable Low Inventory Alerts checkbox.

You have enabled your Low Inventory Alerts. To disable these alerts/notifications, simply uncheck the Enable Low Inventory Alerts checkbox.

How to Set Low Inventory Levels

You can set low inventory levels at a product level. Please see How to Update Your Inventory for steps to update the reorder level.

Please Note: If you have eCommerce, you can create a Purchase Order to replenish your inventory. As you get more goods, the system will automatically update your product levels wherever you sell them.
